Spectacular Saturday my Special Souls. Well I’m welcoming July in a glorious wave of joy!! Okay, I have to admit the last few days have been pretty incredible. Spending time with incredible souls, seeing dear friends, meeting new ones that you get to share an intimate adventure of music with. I do not take for granted the blessings of this journey. To stand in a place surrounded by SO much talent and dedication to a craft is beyond measure .. and then those who work incredibly hard to create the dream (have to call out especially David Fishof, Valerie Ince, and Monica Lynn). I was given a gift in an amazing counselor, Michael Devin .. wow. Not only an incredible talent but a deep soul who is extremely giving and attentive. the counselors in all are just so giving and open .. I’ve loved all of mine. Nothing like the experience of a hug and conversation with Bjorn, Chip, Tony, and so many others welcoming you and the genuine sweetness and humor of Rudy. Sitting in a room listening to Kane Roberts speak, and Paul Stanley just happens to walk in. Rehearsing with the extra touch of drummer aficionado Vinny Appice. Master classes with Dale Bozzio (amazingly sweet and deep soul) and jamming with Gregg Bisonette (not only a bad ass drummer but incredinbly funny, kind and entertaining) and Joe Vitale. And today .. well today I get to sing with Nancy .. the Nancy Wilson .. holy cow. I’m floored!!! So today I say to you … live your dreams .. check off your bucket list .. go for whatever fills your heart .. life is amazing, glorious, blessed .. a gift and adventure. Grab it by the horns and ride the hell outta it!!! You can do it!!!! Tremendous Tuesday my terrifics. Well .. this day is a glorious brand new day. While I’m grateful for every day and moment, this is extra special. I get to join great friends in the fun and fulfillment of music in the land of LALA!!! I’m so excited to put some Heart into the next 7 days. Then I get to return and play Blues Fest on the 4th with the Lightning Kings (and my co-Queen). Then a celebration of love with dear dear hearts wowie. So .. for us all .. gratitude = happiness, when gratitude is our attitude we can’t help but glow a little brighter, feel a little more joyous, have an extra kick in our step and feel a bit more fulfilled. All the blessings Divine Grace holds for us are recognized, appreciated and held dear. It kinda starts a ripple effect .. think of it this way, we’re adjusting our vibe .. but also when someone appreciates what you do for them are you more or less willing to shower more goodness upon them? So, as we gratefully and joyously receive, we receive more grace (and more gratitude). So let’s have a wonderful day filled in thankfulness. Magnificent Monday my beauties. Welcome to a new day, new week, new life, new possibility. Each day that we awaken, we are given a gift that we have never been given before .. today. When we live in the now, knowing that we are here for the greatest purpose of just being ourselves and bringing our own spirit and our own light into the world, we know that no matter what this day brings it has fulfilled a purpose beyond our wildest imagination. Superb Sunday my beauties. It’s a beautiful day .. I get to share it with lovely souls AND I got to spend last night with awesome souls and sing my heart out with wonderful musical souls .. blessed and grateful gal here. Ok. So, perfection, let’s be 100% real folks .. it ain’t happening. That being said, who judges what perfection is anyway? Life is life, beautiful, wonderful, joyous, frustrating, pissy and sad at times .. but it teaches us balance, love, acceptance, receiving .. life lessons .. which in themselves really are miracles.
