Spectacular Saturday my sweets. What a glorious life it is to .. so grateful. Last week, I got to jam with Nancy Wilson and other amazing musical talents in Los Angeles and this week I get the pleasure of sharing in a most precious celebration of love between two incredible people, Karen and Jason, that I’m so thrilled to be a part of in Las Vegas. I am also grateful that my son is home to care for the swet four footeds. I am just amazed every day at all the glorious moments that life, and I have faith, gives me. So as Saturday brings us a new chance at joy and life, what are you grateful for? Fabulous Friday my fantastics!!!! It’s Friday challenge day .. our day to put an even brighter gaze on kindness. Today’s recipe … cupfuls of love flowing freely from the words presented from your lips, the gentle expression from your eyes, the warm touch of a friendly hand, sweet and meaningful arms wrapping those you love in a deep squeezing hug. Tremendous Thursday my lovelies. So grateful this morning and life. Steven Adler said before we started playing as the camper band, “we’re going to do this like we’re teenagers in our bedroom .. just have fun!” I loved this, because it reminded me that I need to let the child within me to come out and play more. Worry, fear, how we look to others just kinda melts away and we just end up having fun. Life is meant to be lived in joy, yes, there’s moments the adult is needed, but what if we all just try to have a little bit more innocent joy and let out inner child out more. Think, feel, play, dance, laugh, love with the authenticity of a child, rather than with our adult mind which automatically seems to set expectations of “how were supposed to be” versus who we truly just are. So let your child come out to play way more often .. I bet life becomes a bit more free and fun. Wonderful Wednesday my wonders. What a glorious day it is to live in gratitude and to live fully you. At some point in time, we all have to realize that we may not fit into another’s perception of who we should be .. that’s okay. Inside us all there is a magical creation that was put on this Earth to be exactly who we are. Others may look at us and expect us to live this way or that way, but that’s their perception. Until we accept the journey that is uniquely our own, we will never be truly satisfied or truly happy. So be yourself, fully yourself, and know that you will be loved and treasured by those who get who you are. Don’t ever ever cage yourself into a version of a plastic self for anyone else, because then you will never live the life you were meant to live. Tremendous Tuesday my terrifics. Happpppppppy 4th of July. Today at 1:30 at the Blues Festival on the beautiful glorious Shores of the Willamette I will be singing my heart out with the Lightning Kings (& Queen) at the Blues Festival. I celebrate this day in such gratitude for the last few days, well every day, life is a brilliant tapestry of moving pictures and puzzle pieces of moments all tied together into a life lived. Life is a gift .. so grateful. I spent such incredible time with dear dear souls and my beautiful beautiful soul sistahs who makes me smile. I’m so grateful to everyone for the time shared at camp. Magnificent Monday my beauties. Well, what a bunch of amazing days were had at this camp. It’s always a bittersweet ending with incredible memories, but it flies by. Yesterday, Whisky performances .. just awesome .. everyone killed it. My band killed it, proud to be a part of it, and again Michael Devin was incredible as a counselor. And what an amazing time playing with Steven Adler .. what an absolute sweetheart and ball of fire, energy, taken, fun and pure joy. I have to admit singing Sweet Child while he beat the crap outta the drums was incredibly awesome. So all … seriously, don’t wait to live until this or that, them or there .. it’s short, it’s precious .. just do it now. Fully .. fully .. fully. It’s a huge gift!!!! As always. .. Superb Sunday my beauties. What a glorious existence it is. Yesterday was a day of epic proportion for me … rocking out with Nancy Wilson. Wowow, what an amazingly talented (and gorgeous) lady. The last few days have been stellar!!! Also got to rip it out with my band “Eye Contact” at the Lucky Strike .. Tonight it’s the Whisky. Everyone was awesome .. so mych support and fun. And I have to say the counselor jam with Michael Devin, Vinny Appice, Craig Goldy and Kane Roberts .. War Pigs … oh lordy, lordy, blown away. For us all … live this life you’ve been given your own way. No regrets, full speed ahead, pedal to the metal, music full blast, singing at the top of your lungs, top down, in the bliss of the moment. We are meant to thrive in this existence .. no limits. You are worthy, needed, wanted and ENOUGH. Spectacular Saturday my Special Souls. Well I’m welcoming July in a glorious wave of joy!! Okay, I have to admit the last few days have been pretty incredible. Spending time with incredible souls, seeing dear friends, meeting new ones that you get to share an intimate adventure of music with. I do not take for granted the blessings of this journey. To stand in a place surrounded by SO much talent and dedication to a craft is beyond measure .. and then those who work incredibly hard to create the dream (have to call out especially David Fishof, Valerie Ince, and Monica Lynn). I was given a gift in an amazing counselor, Michael Devin .. wow. Not only an incredible talent but a deep soul who is extremely giving and attentive. the counselors in all are just so giving and open .. I’ve loved all of mine. Nothing like the experience of a hug and conversation with Bjorn, Chip, Tony, and so many others welcoming you and the genuine sweetness and humor of Rudy. Sitting in a room listening to Kane Roberts speak, and Paul Stanley just happens to walk in. Rehearsing with the extra touch of drummer aficionado Vinny Appice. Master classes with Dale Bozzio (amazingly sweet and deep soul) and jamming with Gregg Bisonette (not only a bad ass drummer but incredinbly funny, kind and entertaining) and Joe Vitale. And today .. well today I get to sing with Nancy .. the Nancy Wilson .. holy cow. I’m floored!!! So today I say to you … live your dreams .. check off your bucket list .. go for whatever fills your heart .. life is amazing, glorious, blessed .. a gift and adventure. Grab it by the horns and ride the hell outta it!!! You can do it!!!!
