Fantastic Friday my fabulous ones. It’s Friday challenge day. Let’s spread the love and kindness! Isn’t it glorious to be ALIVE! On this day in 1962, I was brought into this world through an incredible mother and a wonderful father. Their loving, kind, nurturing spirits gave me an incredible start as did my family and friends. To this day, my abundance of blessings overwhelms me in appreciation and love. I have 4 giving and loving children, 2 adorable grandchildren, loving framily (including my musical framily) and dear dear friends .. I am so very blessed. Let’s celebrate each other and shower love and support this day … every soul is worthy, unique, needed, spectacularly special and enough! Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Glorious day to you and yours. Rest in peace Hugh .. you really did live it your own way. My uncle, Anson, was one of the original individuals that worked with him to start Playboy. He was a wonderful sports writer, and I remember some of the incredible stories that he told. This quote reminds me that we truly do have our own path, OUR own dreams … some may lineup with family and friends, and some may not. But it is our journey and we must follow that driving gut feeling, purpose and dream .. life is short and our purpose is for us to find that which brings joy and purpose to our OWN soul. So live life your own way, and walk that path with your head held high, joy in your heart, and kindness and goodness everywhere you go. Hugh, you did just that, breaking boundaries and living your dream! Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls. Grateful for this glorious day. As we travel through our life, our journey here on this playground, let us remember .. we’ve got this! We always are enough, and believe it or not, we always have that which we need at any given moment to care for ourselves and share with others. We have the strength and fortitude to change the world around us .. or enhance it exponentially. You can do this by simply lifting up someone on this particular day. Taking in a stray animal that needs a home, loving someone through their difficulties, holding hope for tomorrow and living fully each and every day. Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. So grateful to be alive on this beautiful day. There is so much joy in the miracle of simply being. If we hold hope for today and the future in our hearts, we can see there is always a path ahead. Marvelous Monday my magnificent souls. What a glorious day it is to be alive. I think, the thoughts that we hold, especially of ourselves, really carve the path of where we’re going. When we hold thoughts that are not in our best interest, and actually are self-condemning, we find ourselves in a pattern that is not the most beneficial. I find myself doing this more to myself lately, and that is something that I choose to change. We must be our biggest champions, now we must also see ourselves in truth so that those things that we do need to change we can, but at the same time we need to give ourselves a break and treat ourselves as we would somebody that we truly adore. So as we begin this week, let us hold ourselves in the light of love, kindness and forgiveness and start once again in a new light on our journey!! We are worthy, loved and enough right where we stand! Spectacular Sunday my sweets. What a beautiful day it is to be on this earth. Our thoughts, what we project within our consciousness, can create our reality, so it’s extremely important that we manage that which we think. If we can focus on what we are grateful for, it is so much more likely that peace, comfort and joy will surround us. If we find ourselves felling agitated, grumpy, negatively … I find if I can take a few minutes to sit quietly, go within and refocus on all the things that I’m blessed with, it helps to shift my feelings. I’m in no way saying that we shouldn’t feel what we feel, and be authentic with that, but there are times when taking the time to shift, even if we still end up feeling those feelings makes a difference. So be thoughtful with your thoughts and let them lead you into a positive realm. Spectacular Saturday my special souls. I am so grateful for this day. Let us hold love in our hearts and our souls for self. When we love and except ourselves for who we are in this moment, we give ourselves the freedom to simply be. We are always enough where we stand at the moment, and by beating ourselves up for what we think we should be and haven’t become yet, we create in our minds and spirit a catalyst for the destruction of self worth, and ultimately, for that which we seek to bring into the world. When we look at who we’ve been in the past, and focus on that in the present, we lose incredible moments and aspects of who we have become now. There are lessons that we’ve learned, and those beautiful memories that we share, but as we let the baggage of yesterday go, and open ourselves fully to the travels we make today, life becomes lived in this moment fully ourselves. This moment truly is all we have, and what we were before is a shadow of the self we are now.
