Spectacular Sunday my sweets. I am so so grateful for today. It is both a healing and freeing act to forgive another human being in whom you felt harmed or disrespected. Nobody is perfect, everybody hurts and harms someone in both known and unknown ways. In forgiving, we release ourselves from the cage of holding onto the negativity. That being said, forgiving ourselves can be the more difficult forgiveness to give. Whether you’ve allowed another beyond your boundary and caused your own hurt, you unintentionally hurt someone else, you’ve disrespected another in a way that is not who you are at the core, or you disrespected yourself. We’ve all been there. I ask of you this day, to give yourself a break. You’re a human being, you’re perfectly imperfect, you make mistakes, and there are things that happen where we not only hurt ourselves but we hurt others. This does not negate the worthiness of you and your existence. So take a few moments and, in whatever way feels right for you, give yourself the gift of releasing the guilt, accepting the lesson and moving onward. Superb Saturday my special souls. I am so grateful. Let us allow ourselves the respite to just be. To walk upon this earth in a state of pure consciousness, engaged and free of criteria, agenda, expectations .. no preconceived notions. This is the gift of living in the now. When we allow ourselves the peace and calmness to live away from the chaos of thoughts creating a spinning tornado of the whirl of yesterday, tomorrow, a year from now .. we find we can just be! And it’s a beautiful, calm, glorious place to be .. in the soul, in the fullness of the moment at hand. Fantastic Friday my fantabulous souls!! It’s Friday challenge day, our day to spread kindness. One of the most beautiful things that you can do each and every day is spread kindness. Kindness comes in many forms .. through words, listening, actions, understanding, empathy, support and paying it forward. We can increase the love and goodness another feels by how we act in their presence and the respect we show … and it doesn’t have to be just a human soul (😉). A great start is a smile and a sweet tone in your voice .. it truly doesn’t take much more than that. Let’s lift the good vibrations today and spread smiles with kindness. Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. I am grateful. In the world these days, we are constantly bombarded. By information, feelings of everything needing to be answered and handled instantly. It’s kind of like playing dodgeball at hyper speed. We see it personally, professionally, everywhere. If we really look, deeply look, at what is truly an instant need, we’d be surprised at the anxiousness we live in based on false need. Do your best to be mindful of what truly matters at this moment, how “urgent” is it really, and give yourself a break on trying to be a Speed Superhero of everything. Yes, you’ll get to most everything, but put it into perspective. Don’t create anxiety because you’re being overloaded, give yourself a break and do what you can, the best you can, with your attention to one task and a time. It usually turns out better in the long run. Whimsical Wednesday wonderful souls. Grateful! Grateful for so many things. Family, (including the non human souls that fill my heart and home), friends, breath, music, writing, joy, purpose, work, time, health, nature … it’s an endless string of words, but the emotion and meaning is deep. Today my son heads back to Basic Training. I hold such pride and love for him! It’s definitely bittersweet, but I hold so much gratitude for the time shared with family this holiday. A great gift from the Divine! One thing I choose to do is spend at least 10 minutes daily looking at what I am truly thankful for and appreciate. It’s a daily lesson and reminder of how truly blessed I am right at this moment. I encourage you to do the same. Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. So grateful and blessed. Deeper authenticity is my mantra this year. I will follow my soul, my gut, to say yes when it feels like a yes, and no when it feels like a no, unless there is a deeply compelling reason which resonates for the other choice. Of course, never to be cruel, but to be more honest. One of my traits has always been people pleasing, co-dependence, making others happy when truly the honesty is kinder in the end. While, most of the time it brings me joy, there are times I’m left feeling bitter, resentful and kind of icky … And this is brought about by my own actions .. not the other soul. So, in choosing to be more authentic, I choose to be more loving by being more honest with following my true feelings. While I did begin this somewhat the end of 2017, I will make this a bigger focus in 2018. What will be one of your focuses for this beautiful new year? HAPPPPPPYYYY NEW YEAR – HAPPPPPPPPY 2018! Magnificent Monday my magnificent souls. It’s a brand new day, moment, YEAR! Welcome 2018! I’m grateful for another opportunity!! As we step into the year, let us open our hearts, minds to the newness that is in front of us. Let us hold joy, peace, hope, faith, and love. May we allow our’s hearts and souls to bring forth childlike wonder to the experiences ahead of us and within each moments. As adults we can tend to be more serious and we suppress some of the joy of each moment. This year let laughter and joy be our dominant song as we see with wonder and amazement! Enjoy your experience immensely .. it’s a glorious gift from the Divine! Spectacular Sunday my sweet souls. Goood and glorious last Sunday of December and last day of 2017. As I reflect on this year, I must say it was a mix of moments .. a year of balance and growth. I went inward and have learned quite a bit about myself .. it was a year that I will always treasure as it’s teachings were poignant and enlightening. I saw my children sprout further into adulthood and truly shift before my eyes .. I’m a proud mother! I also received the gift of grandchildren which I hold immensely dear to my heart and soul. They are a treasure. As each moment passes, I will hold gratitude for the opportunity, I will live each day holding faith that everything always works out, but will allow a more childlike joy into each opportunity, letting go and letting the minutes be what they choose. I will stand in my own presence and follow the guidance of my gut and Divine Grace. I will be fully myself and not conform to another’s vision of whom I should be. I will use my voice and my soul to claim my destiny in grace, love, kindness and peace. I will be grateful for the gift of a Divine and glorious life. Spectacular Saturday my special souls. I am grateful for this day!!! The grace of letting go and forgiveness. Two extremely powerful concepts that end up affecting us more than anybody else. When we hold on to past hurts, decisions, situations and experiences and allow them to marinate in the seasonings of bitterness, regret, self-righteousness and self-pity, we actually block ourselves in a cloak of “yuck.” By letting go of that which once hurt us, disappointed us or those we felt betrayed by (including ourself) we release ourselves from the prison of those old emotions to walk freely in joy. You are the prison guard who holds the key to the lock to stay caged or to unlock it the door to freedom.
