Fantastic Friday my fantabulous souls!! It’s Friday challenge day, our day to spread compassion and kindness. And for those who hold this belief in their heart, it’s Good Friday .. the Friday before Easter. And Passover is also upon us. This Friday challenge day, I wanted to share a photo of a gentleman who’s compassion, bravery, love and goodness was a light to the world and to many children. He passed away at 107 on March 22. His name was Johan van Hulst and a hero of the Holocaust. He was a true lover of kindness … the ultimate kindness of putting another’s safety over your own; of doing the right thing no matter the cost. While we may never face this challenge ourselves, and may never feel that calling, it’s a wonder to behold in another. We too, however, in our own lives, can make huge differences in the lives of each other by being compassionate and kind daily. So today, let’s honor those heroes who go above and beyond with their hearts and lives by taking an extra step in mindfully being good to each other. The world shines much brighter when we do. Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Glorious day to be alive. Each day we are seen, maybe not always in the ways that we think we want to be seen, but we’re defined by others by our actions. How we walk through life is the movie shown to others which shape the opinions of who we are. We can speak eloquent words, and say the right things, but how we hold ourselves is our defining image. Now I’m not saying live this life unauthentically, or be anyone that you are not intrinsically, but I am saying others are shaped by how we walk our paths. And we can make very positive examples of our lives and/or cause confusion, chaos and destruction. So, be yourself fully but also be aware of how you shine your light in this world. Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls. Grateful for the gift of today!! Sometimes, you just got to give it up, let it go .. simply let it be what it is, and stop arguing about it. Sometimes those arguments are internal because the individuals that are showing up are mirrors to show you parts of you and are there for a reason. Not always enjoyable, but we do gain strength and grow from the experience. As I walk this path, I do find “those souls” that just get under my skin .. They’re not mean, they’re not rude, they’re not right, they’re not wrong, in fact they can be lovely .. they are being themselves on their own path .. but somehow they’ve showed up on mine .. and it’s like having a pebble of sand in your shoe. They serve as a catalyst to awaken something within me that I may not enjoy, but it creates uneasiness and discomfort. Some are gone in an instant, and some are like Groundhog Day .. Lolol! These are the days when a good meditation and 1000 deep breath is needed … and turning over my stress and my feelings of “ickyness” to the Divine for help and grace. This too shall pass .. and I know we all find this along our journeys .. so stay resilient, positive and filled with faith my fellow journeyers- we’ve got this!!!! Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. So grateful. The blessings that are upon us each and every day we may be blinded to. It can be as simple, yet extraordinary, as to have a bed to lay in, or shoes and clean clothes to cover our feet and bodies. It can be reaching for a cup to put out freshly brewed coffee into in the morning, or the shower that allowed us to be refreshed for the day. The light that just happens to turn on when you flick the switch and the heat coming from the vent. So many extraordinary things that are almost invisible to us anymore, but miracles and blessings in and of themselves. Today, walk mindfully and give thanks and hold gratitude for all around you. It reminds us how truly blessed we are. Marvelous Monday my magnificent souls. I’m grateful for a new day of life! As we step into the week, let us hold positivity in all that shall occur within our hearts. Be joyful, laugh, appreciate the little things, be kind, dream big, let love and Grace pour from your Spirit … and be good to yourself. When we live each moment in a state of faith and hope, life is just easier. So let the beautiful flow of this glorious gift of life take you throughout this week in incredible moments of “nowness” embracing it all. You are wonderful, worthy and enough. Glorious Sunday my sweets. Blessed be to all .. it’s a beautiful day. For many a day specifically set aside of worship and reflection.. a day to look within oneself and be in awareness of who we are and what path we are on. (Though this can be a beautiful daily practice.) We should never negate the significance of the gift of where we stand right now, as each moment is a treasure to us from the Divine. One of greatest blessings for each of us is the gift of life and our relationships with ourselves and each other. For in the paths we walk together and in our own solitude we have greater knowledge and adventures in the passion of living. So today know how worthy and wonderful you are, and take a moment to reflect all life’s blessings. Superb Saturday my special souls. I am so grateful for this day of life. It’s a glorious day to listen to your heart .. all days are! Your heart is an incredible storyteller if you listen to it. It will tell you tales of adventures, dreams, hope, faith, kindness, overcoming, releasing, accepting and joy. It will show you through feelings, it will lay out your path of passion, and it will give you empathy for what others are facing on their paths. It allow us to be little children filled with the hopes and dreams of now and the future. So, take a moment of silence and tap into what your heart is telling you .. you might be amazed at the response!! In holding ourselves to a standard of respect, kindness, appreciation, and love … and by seeing each other as the glorious spirits that we are, we honor life and the Divine. Each day brings more opportunities to love, to heal, to forgive and move forward. When we do this with an intention of love, we share kindness naturally as it’s our underlying purpose. Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Glorious day to be alive. Breathe in the positive, breathe out the negative. When you find you’re anxious, or you’re feeling your nerves are on edge because you’re frustrated, annoyed or angry, just breathe and let it go. If you sit in peace for just a few minutes when you’re starting to tense up and stress out, it can be the best remedy to bring you back to center and calm. We all have moments, where we feel kinda prickly, that’s OK, but that’s not a great feeling. So if we can bring ourselves back to a place where we are in the light and the positive, it always feels, at least to me, so much better. So today breathe in the positive and out the negative, repeat as often as needed. Today is filled with possibilities, it’s a blank page, a new chapter, scene one of the rest of your life. I say make it a light hearted, leaving you feeling all warm and positive, kinda movie. If there are tears, they are happy tears! We are the director, yell cut when the scene isn’t quite right, breath, be mindful and start the scene again … in lightness, let’s try and do that this glorious day!
