Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Happy Summer Solstice! Glorious day of life. I can have a tendency to loop a movie in my head of things where I hold worry and how I’ll “fix them” when they come my way. That creates unnecessary tension and a discalming effect within the soul. If we hold intentions of good and focus on the now, what is right in front of us, believing things will always work out in the end, we remove unnecessary anxiousness. Sometimes we just need to sit down, take a big deep breath, and let it be. Unless we can truly take steps at this moment to smooth the path going forward, it’s better to just release the likely inaccurate vision of what’s coming and focus on this moment. Divine Grace is on our side and has a better knowledge of our future; trusting what’s ahead for our good makes life so much easier and more pleasant. So breathe, trust, release the negative and enjoy this moment. Wonderful Wednesday my “we can do this souls.” I am grateful for today! My hope is that our hearts and our souls will always be open to the needs of others. My soul today weeps for those who are treated as less than the worthy beings that they are. We may speak and look differently, but we all intrinsically want the same thing deep inside. We must step up and embrace those in harms way and who are hurting in the deepest sense. Let us be the catalysts to bring change, love, peace, caring and hope to all the worlds citizens. We are all connected to each other, one to the other, intertwined. Let us stand as beacons of light and hope to those who cross our paths. Let justice be our mantra and kindness our gift. Let’s stand for what is right and speak our minds to the greater good for all. Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. So grateful for life. We all face trials and tribulations, it’s part of the learning of life. If you’re facing a storm at this present moment, know the sun will come out soon; Divine Grace always has a way of pushing the clouds away to a brighter day. Everything truly does always work out in the end. So if today, or tomorrow, you feel like you’re in the midst of a hurricane moment of life with a high level of turbulence in emotions and events, truly know that a smoother and brighter day is coming. Take the storms as beautiful lessons that allow us to see the sun even brighter than we did before. Have patience and faith in your own ability to believe in a positive outcome and embrace the knowledge that life carves our soul into the beautiful piece of artwork that we are meant to be .. through both glorious and harrowing times. Marvelous Monday my magnificent souls. Grateful for life. We must love ourselves first. That does not mean that we don’t love and care for others, but it does mean that we look to ourselves for the best answers for our own existence. We must look to ourselves to set our boundaries, wants, hopes, dreams, lifestyles and whatever is needed for our souls. We must be our biggest ally, our biggest supporter, and believe that the still small voice within us knows what is best for us. We may receive wise counsel from others and there are moments where we may feel it’s best to compromise for a given situation. However, ultimately, the decisions we make for ourselves should be guided by what we know is right and true for our own journey and soul. Until we truly love and trust ourselves those choices can be more easily swayed by outside opinions .. opinions by those who do not know the full life story of us. No matter how close someone maybe to our souls and our hearts, they truly do not know the full story of us. So love yourself first and do that which you know you need. Special Sunday my spectacular souls. Glorious day of gratitude! Happy Fathers Day to those who hold the gift of the title Father or Dad .. by birth or by heart. To my Dad, you were a truly magnificent gem of a father, one who loved unconditionally and always showed up. You were an amazing supporter and teacher. I miss you so much! I also had an incredible grandfather who used to walk me around his garden by the hand introducing me to his roses; he was a gentle soul one of my personal visions of a man focused on social justice! My other grandfather passed way too soon, but on Sundays he used to read the comics to me and we’d spend the morning giggling. To my sons who demonstrate that they are dotting, present and loving fathers .. I’m so proud of you!! Happppppy Fathers Day to all those who can claim the title of Dad!! You truly have such great influence on those who hold so much love and admiration for you. Superb Saturday my special souls. I am so grateful, thankful and blessed. Today would have been my Moms 85th birthday .. she left this earth way to soon for me, but at the perfect time in her journey. Trusting why and when things happen is the catalyst to peace and acceptance! She made her departure to her next adventure at 58 from complications of cancer. She had struggles in her life, deep depression at times, and I truly believe she is happier in her current state than when she was here. She had moments of bliss here, but she always longed for something else. I am grateful for the gift of life, laughter, love and deep caring that she gave me. I hold my moments on this earth as daily gems .. yes there are some rocky, spiny gems I’d like to throw back to whence they came, but I trust that they’re still gems and they’ve shown up for a reason. So let’s celebrate our days, honoring each one for the magnificent lessons and experiences they bring. They are the creators of who we are and who we are continuing to unfold into; we have so much yet to explore, devour and embrace!! So celebrate and live! Fantastic Friday my fabulous ones. Your mission today, should you choose it, is to be kind. Look upon others with eyes that see beauty, speak words of healing and uplifting, create actions of assistance and hear words in the way the Divine would want them to be heard. In an age of texting, quick answers, emoji’s, things can be misconstrued .. and remember your interpretation of the tone or intent is guided by your own inner translator; be mindful and shift the intent to well meaning communication. If you see someone who is struggling, reach out a hand or speak a kind word. We truly have no idea what another individual is dealing with, the traumas of the past and the inner turmoil of the now. If we can be someone who serves as a catalyst for even a moment of comfort, we have lived today with beauty and grace. No one is without need of kindness and love. Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Glorious day to be alive. Each morning that we awaken, we are a new being in this world. Change is constant .. in both little and larger ways; this is life. Experiences, deep conversations and even the simplicity of daily tasks carve the caverns of Spirits to a new mindfulness and awakening in a continual motion. As we walk through our now let us remember we are incapable of going back to the way things were, because the way things were no longer exist. In each forward tick in the hand of time, something has progressed, be it small or large; we are constantly evolving. Let us open our hearts to our true selves, getting to know the realness of the soul each and every day .. reacquainting ourselves with ourselves. Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls. I am grateful, thankful and blessed! In this journey I have made many mistakes, some of which have been at a much greater level than others. That being said, I can only hope they have served me and others to be better people. By touching the traumas that I’ve inflicted, though not purposefully, and the traumas that have been laid upon me – most likely without malice, we learn and we grow. Life is not a cake walk and if we can take those really hard lessons and make them as stepping stones to become a better human, so be it. To anyone I’ve hurt, I’m deeply sorry and I acknowledge the pain I’ve caused. To those in which I’ve been hurt, I forgive you. We must carry our scars as reminders of a life lived the best we could at a given moment in our flawed humanity and move on to this day with hope and grace. Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. Thankful for life! Life is about the daily journey, the now. But we must also recognize that the past had an important place in our existence. We must love ourselves through those prior moments, the memories that may cast shadows; where we may feel we could have chosen a different way. I’m here to tell you that your journey to this place, where you now stand, was exactly as it should be. You must trust that whatever encounters occurred have been magnificent stepping stones to this moment. If you can heal your heart and Spirit and accept your path in love, you’ll be in a much better place of peace. We may not know all the reasons that we went through what we did, but if we can hold ourselves in a place of love and forgiveness, our current and future path will be a much more pleasant trip. Today is a gift that you can give yourself, being present fully to the moment and mindful of the treasure today holds.
