Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Happy last day of August 2017. Holding on. There are times in our lives when we hold on to something so tight, knowing it is causing hurt and pain in our souls. While moments of discomfort can serve as catalysts for expansion, learning and change, we can hold on to what is causing us pain way too long. This can be caused by many things .. relationships, unhealthy beliefs, habits, career choices, self loathing, negativity, bitterness, etc. When we courageously release that which hurts us, we open ourselves to a different flow, reality and allowance to the receptivity of joy, peace and awareness. Allowing that release to occur, can shift our lives.. so be willing to shed that which no longer serves you and causes pain. Whimsical Wednesday my wonders. Glorious morning to you. If we can open our eyes every day to see all the beautiful miracles in front of us, how blessed we become. Looking at the little things, the simple things, the humble things … the bee extracting nectar from a flower, or an elderly woman walking her dog down the street, soaking in the warmth of the sun and connection of her companion. This is life, this is the energy of the universe allowing the natural ease and flow of acceptance and receptivity. It’s the awareness of even the miracle of a breath of air that fills our lungs naturally without thought. It’s such a divine world that we live in .. there are so many simplistic and incredible gifts that surround us. As we wake and move about our day let us hold in our hearts gratitude and appreciation for all life and all that life provides. We truly are worthy, unique, enough and blessed. Spectacular Sunday my specials. Glorious day it is. Ok, self care and self respect. Yes, we should care about each other as souls who travel this universe together .. that goes without saying. However, if you find yourself caring more about what others feel, think, need, want, etc. .. you can actually end up in a place that isn’t the best for anyone involved. A place of anger, uneasiness, unhappiness, bitterness, facades and feeling as if you’ve lost yourself somewhere (because you probably have). In trying to be someone that you’re not, you’re actually taking away from yourself and those you love and care about. If you’re an empty shell with an almost robotic existence, you’re serving no one and you’re not being you. So I say be true to you, care deeply for you first. Not in a way of me, me, me, me, but in a self honoring way of I know what’s right for me, and I respect myself and others enough to follow that leading. I’m not afraid to say no, not now or yes, this is it, I know this is right for me .. it’s respecting the knowing of thy self without apologies, games or swaying at the drop of a hat. When you honor you, you’ll find your life, relationships and actions come from pureness and authenticity .. and that’s the space in which to live. Spectacular Saturday my special souls. I am so grateful for this day. As we look upon our lives, and we look upon our journeys, let us know that life itself is the ultimate destination. Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. What a glorious day to be alive. I am filled in peace and joy. So .. gut, trusting our instincts and intuition. Have you ever just “known” something feels right, or it just feels wrong. That is your inner voice, that is your soul, the wisdom of the universe, having the truest of conversations with you. There have been many times where my heart, or my head say … oh, that looks lovely, or, well maybe I should be kind in this situation .. all the while my gut is screaming at me “NOOOOO” and while I hear it .. LOUDLY .. I trumped my gut for whatever reason and have ended up feeling icky or in a sticky situation. I learned from it, don’t regret it for the growth, but it also caused some uncomfort that wasn’t really needed. There are also times we hear the chitter chatter of the masses trying to convince us of something .. while we are all interconnected, we are also one soul living our own purpose. Someone asked my son recently at an event who he represented, and his response was “I represent myself,” which I thought was an amazing answer .. I’m using that one. So as we travel our journeys, and follow the path of our own existence, trust that inner voice that sometimes is a tiny little whisper, or sometimes a roaring lion, that tells us “yes” or “no” or “think about it for a little bit .. maybe.” I will do more of that!! No matter the circumstance, we are here, we are resilient and brilliant. We are worthy, strong and enough. Yes, there are things that bring us to our knees and rock us to our core – truth – it’s life, but if we look at those circumstances, and the souls who may have assisted in creating the chaos, as an ultimate gift in our growth – then we hold the power as a victor versus a victim. Let’s hold ourselves accountable and responsible for our own actions, attitudes and responses; we can then find ourselves in the peace which that holds and … again … we become victorious. Now, this process may not happen overnight at times, so we must be kind with ourselves as we go through the journey – but it never fails, there is always an outcome – and somehow, everything always works out in the end. Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. As we begin this glorious new day that is put before us, look at each moment as it is a precious gift. Yes we see time in buckets … years, weeks, days, hours, minutes … but if we can embrace each moment that we’re alive, no matter what is happening at that given moment and be grateful and aware, then we truly experience all of life. It’s beautiful to know, that moment by moment things shift, we grow, we see things before us that we may have missed in the past. If our mind is too busy in yesterday, three hours from now, five years from now we miss the current experience. Yes, looking forward in positivity, putting our mind to where we wish to go is great, as long as we are mindful in that moment that that is what our purpose is at that given moment. Life is beautiful minute buy minute appreciate and experience it.
