Spectacular Sunday glorious souls!! May this last day be filled in respect, kindness, peace, and joy. So I had a bit of an adventure yesterday, helped a friend to rescue three little sick baby kittens found on a bike path. My friend is going back for Mom today – she seemed fine. They are about six weeks old and needed immediate medical attention. Happy to say they got the vet care they needed, and have a very loving new home with a new mom! She drove over two hours to come and meet me to pick up the little sweet bundles of love. I was so tempted to add to my little fur family, but they are definitely in the right place! For you, know that you are so worthy and treasured, wanted and loved. Spectacular Saturday special souls! As we begin the journey of this day, take some time in relaxation. If you can, listen to a podcast, read a book, be in nature – slow down a bit from the week. It’s ok to take some time to just refresh – even if it’s for a couple of hours. There is a lot going on in the world – in order to be there for others, you need to care for yourself too. It doesn’t have to cost anything just take a cup of coffee and free you mind for a little time. Each of you are treasured – each soul has a purpose and is loved and treasured. It’s Friday dear souls; our kindness challenge day. Kindness – so incredibly important as is respect. What can you do this day? With everything going out right now, maybe the biggest gift of kindness you can give is to stop, listen and learn with an open heart and mind. You can take the time by putting your story book down for a bit and open someone else’s to better inform yourself to allow true understanding. Take a real – REAL – good look at yourself, not with shame, but with hope and honesty. In learning another’s experience, you are honoring their path and opening your heart to their journey. Wonderful Wednesday precious souls!!! I pray for the day we can see individuals for the souls they are. Not simply what they look like, their gender, or from where they came; but who they are as individuals. We all have a story – everyone is shaped by the world in which they have grown within; we are wonderfully unique. Honoring another’s story is the greatest gift we can give to each other. Recognizing that others have had a different road and path, and some stories, by their intrinsic nature, are much more difficult than yours. Their story doesn’t take away your story, but understanding from where they come and embracing their story, their difficulties, their joy, can make a huge difference in your perception of who they are – and who YOU are. Lets be real, we have biases that are learned throughout our life, the goal is to recognize that, shift and grow. To allow ourselves to learn to be kinder, truer and more open to be a more respectful and loving soul. It starts with me.
