It’s FriYay dear souls – our kindness challenge day. Happpppy Friday challenge day!! So … it’s Friday once again! How can you participate in our kindness challenge – pretty simple – focus this day in kindness. Be loving and kind to yourself and others.

Some suggestions: 1) if your ordering food for pick up, leave an extra tip for those preparing your meal as well as those who deliver; 2) if you’re in a drive through, pay all or part of the order behind you; 3) leave a thank you note and a bottle of water or packaged snack for a mail carrier or a deliverer; 4) give words of encouragement or affirmation to every soul you talk to; 5) listen to hear – not just to respond; 6) leave some water out for the birds or other critters during the day; and 7) for you – speak words of kindness in your heart and in your mind and don’t put yourself down. There ya go – add suggestions if you like in a reply – what are ways you see as bringing kindness. We can spread goodness and kindness in ways that truly are quite easy to do.

Thankful Thursday dear souls!!! Gooood morning! Today we celebrate gratitude – there is so so much to be grateful for. One thing I am truly grateful for are the conversations that are being held. Conversations that are not easy, but necessary. Learning to listen with an open mind and open heart; not to respond but to understand and truly hear. To listen to another’s struggles, experiences and joys for themselves and their loved ones is powerful. I have not walked in another’s shoes but this I commit to – I will sit in their experience with empathy and respond in love and support.
