Happy Saturday dear souls! It’s another beautiful Saturday upon us. Sitting here this morning grateful for the sound of birds, happy animals snoring and a warm cup of coffee. I think most of you may know I’m in an area which is getting a lot of press at the moment. Where I sit it is calm and, yes, there is a limited area in downtown that’s filled with activity in the night. Bottom line – there is a lot of rhetoric, division and fear at play. My prayer – that we do unto others as we would have done unto yourselves! Pray for each other, really listen to each other’s stories; until you’ve walked a mile in another’s shoes you couldn’t truly understand their joys, hopes, deep hurts and fears. But you can be empathetic. Let us hold each other up in respect, love, care and kindness. My goodness – let’s be good one to the other. Please know, you are truly needed, wanted, loved and treasured. Thankful Thursday dear souls!!! Gooood morning! Today is a day to take time to voice what we are grateful for (though a good practice each morning). I am grateful for precious time with my kids, family and friends I can reach out to, a place to live, the necessities of life, a job, many other blessings bestowed upon me, and, of course, the critter souls that share my home. Happy Saturday dear souls! Good morning! So sad at the passing of the great John Lewis – Civil Rights leader – warrior soul and light bearer. A man with a mission – gave himself to service his whole life. What can we do to be a light bearer in these times? Listen, learn and stand beside each other, brothers and sisters, in love and support. I cannot even fathom what another soul may experience, but I know I have been given bountiful opportunities others may have not. So in his memory, I will not forget – in memory of others, I will not forget. Thank you John for being a soul who never gave up. You are needed, wanted and treasured.
