We’re so focused sometimes on how we should be that we ignore who we truly are. It’s so very important to embrace yourself in the now. Live your moments fully as you uniquely are. There is great importance in holding your own soul in love and light each second of this day and every day. Your greatest purpose always is to be the unique Spirit you are. Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls. I am grateful! Words have power, they are brought about usually by thoughts; positive and negative. Words are today’s focus … how we choose them, the tone we speak them in and the meaning behind them. They can be soothing or spears to the soul. Words teach, protect, calm, uplift, support, love .. they can also terrorize, abuse, tear down and rip lives apart. Let us be mindful of the words we speak to others and to ourselves. Are we mindfully choosing in a kind way what we are trying to communicate? While there are times words will be more intense and instant .. “don’t touch that hot stove,” however, usually, we have a more thought out choice. We can chose words that serve as lights and nourishment to the soul versus perpetuating darkness and pain to others. Let us be aware of what we say and how we say it .. it really does matter. Treasured Tuesday my tremendous souls. Thankful for life! This morning I read through a friend’s post of someone they were connected to whose sister and three children had passed unexpectedly .. it’s such a sad and horrific loss. It reminds me of the preciousness of life and how we must treasure our moments and hold them dear. The stresses of the day, the pettiness we can surround our souls in, truly is that which we can distance ourselves. Hold onto love, sweetness, kindness and each other. Let’s be in our sphere of the world fully in love, joy, kindness, hope and appreciation. Hug those you love and share your words of gratitude that they are there with you. Hold dear the sacredness that surrounds you .. life isn’t perfect, there are frustrating events and moments .. but it’s still glorious. Existence it truly is a grand gift … to wake up, breathe and hold those, who also breathe, close in love, caring and gratitude. Honor and treasure this day because life is precious and can be gone in an instant. Fantastic Friday my fabulous ones. It’s Friday challenge day, our day to share kindness in our world. You truly can be the difference in someone’s day .. and that can cause a ripple effect that spreads like roots throughout the community of humanity. Sometimes one word of kindness can change another’s perspective. We see beautiful stories of acts of magnificent kindness .. some are grand heroic gestures, sometimes its sitting down with a soul who is perceived invisible and seeing them for who they are in the depths of their humanness. Not one of us was brought to this earth with the purpose of cruelty or harm. Something, someone, some event caused that switch to occur. What if something we put into the world shed light on the shadows in another and shifted, even a bit, the darkness they experience to light. Maybe we can bring the gift of understanding, peace and love? Never under estimate the power of seeing the small shining light in another’s soul. Someone is always the perfect catalyst for change. So today let our mission be to spread light into the shadows and bring kindness and appreciation to another living being. Terrific Thursday my tremendous souls. Glorious day to be alive … I am grateful. It was an amazing gift to be an opener with a lovely bunch o’ folks for the Blues Fest yesterday. So nice to see people joyously dancing and celebrating life really!! Let’s be happy .. just spend today in a happiness bubble of love, joy, hope and lightness. Let’s do that for a long time! Goodness gracious, I can get tired of negativity, self criticism, meanness, fighting, trying to control and force everything, stress .. let’s just have some good hearted fun filled days with laughter, peace and smiling. That’s what I want on my plate .. JOY!!!! So today I challenge you .. do your work, take it to heart, but don’t let it envelope your soul! If somethings in life frustrated you, let it fly away quickly with a giggle, because it’s probably no big thing. If your overly critical with yourself (I raise my hand) let that shit go .. you’re you .. glorious, worthy, beautifully flawed, enough – relax a little .. just be happy with life .. let it be a gift to be opened daily. Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls. Happy 4th of July. For those of us who have nervous fur babies it can be a few days of both celebration and challenges .. I do my best to calm my one nervous and jittery soul into trying to believe the world is not ending .. last night we had fireworks in our neighborhood until past midnight .. it was not a joyous celebration for us. But I also believe in the rights of others to do what they choose in their celebrations (just wished they’d gotten tired a little earlier Lolol). As for this day, I am grateful!! Every day is a new beginning .. a fresh start, clean slate. We can take the blank palette and paint a masterpiece; this is a blessing. We all have histories, joys, sorrows, challenges .. things that stir the soul .. some days shine that spotlight a little brighter of our more difficult times, but if we can breathe, dream and hold faith, the tide does turn and the gloriousness of the new day shines in beauty. Today, I believe, will be one of joy filled with miraculous and memorable moments to treasure for years to come. Terrific Tuesday my tremendous souls. So grateful for this day. When we can see the beauty in the small things, our hearts and souls can be transformed to realize how truly and abundantly blessed we are in this life. We don’t have to have major events each day to appreciate all the gloriousness around us. Waking up with breath, movement, vision and hearing each day is pretty much a huge win itself. Add to that of all the little beautiful moments, sights, sounds that we experience and every day. Music, birds singing, a wonderful sunrise or sunset, flowers, each other’s smiling faces, kind words, a hug … there’s so many gifts in our sphere and so much to be grateful for.
