Fantastic Friday my fabulous ones. Goooood mornin’. Grateful for this day. Kindness challenge today!! Kindness is an act of sweetness, appreciation, faith, giving and love. If we can challenge ourselves today to do small acts of kindness with everyone we encounter, we will put a positive spin on today. Say hello, smile, truly listen, pat a critter on the head, give water to someone who is thirsty .. so many small, yet large, acts make a difference. One thing I’ve noticed is an act of sending someone you care for a handwritten card or note with thoughts of caring – it’s truly a surprise to those who receive it in the mail .. try it. Buy a card or make one and send to two important people in your life sweet written sentiments just to say, I thought of you today and I love you. It doesn’t take much time, energy or cost, but it’s a lasting gift of care. And for you, treat yourself to something wanted today .. you deserve it! You are worthy, needed and enough! Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls! I am grateful for today! Faith, struggle, hope, despair, peace, turbulence! Sometimes we have those around us who struggle. While we can’t make their decisions for them or live their lives, we can be ears that listen, soothing words or a silent presence.. and strong yet loving arms to hold on to. Life isn’t always pretty or a cake walk – it can get brutally real sometimes. However, there is a new dawn .. it’s there! 20 minutes more sometimes feels like forever, but if we can encourage taking one more step .. one more important birthday, one more reason (and help) it can make a huge difference. So hold on .. to all the ones who struggle deeply – know you’re not alone and there are buoys to cling to! There are helpful warriors (and Source) that treasure you (yes even in your messiest of moments) willing to assist you in your climb up that hill to a place of peace, blue skies and calm. Special Sunday my spectacular souls. Glorious day of gratitude! First .. I must reiterate my sadness at the loss of an American hero whose love and service for country was an incredible tribute to his overall honor and goodness! Thank you for your service. FLY IN PEACE WITH THE ANGELS JOHN! So to love .. what a beautiful feeling and action. It’s really what life is all about. Love comes in many different forms, but brings beauty and hope in all its many characters. Romantic love, family love (including our critters whose unconditional nature is a gift and a teacher for us all), friendship love, deep soul love, love of Source and Spirit, love of humanity in its most vulnerable and realness, love of art, literature, music, creativity, delicacies, and comforts. And we mustn’t forget love of self – really a key component to true happiness! Loving ones own self for who we uniquely are, imperfections and all, and allowing us to just BE in any given situation without constant bashing, blaming or self-talk that’s negative, degrading or demoralizing. So let’s spread, embrace and envelope the love today .. it’s always a glorious day when we are basking in love! Superb Saturday my special souls. Grateful for this day. A life that is lived fully embracing you is the greatest of purpose. When you close your eyes and go to the vastness of your inner bring .. who are you at the core. If you had to describe yourself in five main words(because there are so many more that link to us), what would they be? What is your true essence with no masks, the “should be” part we force ourselves to conform to? If you can allow these characteristics of your true nature to shine, you’d be amazed at the peace and calm that resonates within. You are uniquely and purposefully you .. you are a needed puzzle piece in this beautiful tapestry of life. Fantastic Friday my fabulous ones. It’s Friday challenge day, our day to put some kindness in our world. I’m so grateful for life and grateful for you!
