Do we seek mindfully to find this, or allow ourselves to be bittered by things that really are useless to our wellbeing? In focusing mindfully on the good, glorious and positive we bolster our Spirit instead of allowing our souls to drain into a lowly charged and draining entity? Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls! I am grateful for today! We, my friends, are works in progress but fully complete. Each morning we awaken, new breath in our lungs, new perspectives in our hearts and in our souls. It’s a new chapter, this daily story of our lives, it is up to us to be uniquely ourselves and fully committed to our own Spirits. In self-love, let us guide our lives to be what they are, allowing Spirit to impart deep wisdom, living in the now, fully mindful. Treasured Tuesday my tremendous souls. Grateful for today .. grateful for all. Wherever we stand, whatever we have, it’s always enough. If we can live our lives knowing that who we are at any given moment is where we are meant to be, we can live in abundance and peace. When we are mindful to what is happening right now there is a much greater place of calm then if we’re constantly striving and searching for the next thing. Yes, we have dreams, hopes and things were heading for .. but we must not be blind to the abundance of now. This is where life occurs .. in the present moment. Fantastic Friday my fabulous ones. It’s Friday challenge day, our day to put some kindness in our world. There are so many simple things you can do to spread kindness. One beautiful way is simply to open your ears, mind and heart and truly listen .. not with an intent to respond but with an intent to understand where someone is coming from. The words we speak, and the body language used when speaking, tells volumes. I think one of our truest desires is to be heard and understood. So … if you can make that your act of kindness for today .. you’ve hit the jackpot. Tonight I get to see my son Josh .. back from the Army. Feeling so so so blessed. Life is a beautiful joy .. it may not be perfect – but is SPECTACULAR! Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls! I am grateful for today! Shifting, growing, moving forward in this moment. If you really think about it, it’s the day to day now moments that keep us moving forward in our lives. The daily choices in how we want to exist in the world. The tiny decisions that are almost automatic and done without really thinking. If you feel you’re stuck in a rut of fear, pain, a genuine “meh” feeling, make a small and conscious shift .. just a tiny bit to change things up for the better. It can be refocusing your mind on the good things in life .. the many blessings. Could be healthier eating, reading a positive book, watching less TV, putting your phone down to be in the full presence of others, a better sleep schedule, shifting a habit or doing more of what you love more often. We don’t have to make huge shifts to enhance our lives .. it’s the little day to say things. And we don’t need to compare ourselves to another .. maybe they can be a good example, but we’re unique and have our own journeys! I challenge you to change it up a bit if you like .. for the better. You’re strong, needed, worthy! You’ve GOT this! Treasured Tuesday my tremendous souls. Grateful for today .. grateful for life! 9/11/01 .. I remember the news that morning .. I remember being overwhelmed at the actions being undertaken .. I remember sadness and feeling shocked. My wish for this world is that no one experiences what happened on that day ever again to anyone, anywhere. I send thoughts of healing and sweet remembrance to those who were deeply and personally affected by loss. I pray and give thanks for the souls who gave all that day! May we learn to live with a kind heart, understanding, peace, forgiveness and caring for others in compassion and respect. Let us stand up for justice and liberty for ALL as no one is more or less worthy than another – we are fellow journeyers on this path of life! Let us rise above hatred, stand together and love one another in our beauty and uniqueness .. we are all worthy – and we can do that!
