Thankful Thursday tremendous souls!! Brand new day, brand new opportunity. What are you thankful for this day? Take 10 minutes this morning and look at your life – YOUR life – your day to day life! What are your greatest blessings – and – what are one or two things you’d like to change? Stay focused on that. Today be grateful for the blessings and plan for the shifts. It will allow your mind to focus on what you can control. Oh and breathe, drink a nice cup of coffee or tea, giggle a lot at silly things and spread some encouragement. It’s Wednesday dear souls!! I know there is a lot of confusion and worry at the moment; stress is likely high. For me I’m breathing, doing my routine, and turning it over to God. My prayer is that even with our differences that WE are good to each other no matter what; kind, loving, caring and encouraging. In the end I will choose compassion and I will move forward in love. Tremendous Tuesday treasured souls!! Good morning. Okay let’s be honest – no matter which side of the aisle you sit today, there is an underlying anxiousness; we’re human and there is division. Unless it really fills you in joy, I suggest a few things. Turn off the news, listen to soothing music or a audio book (love listening to psalms), focus on the task in front of you, take time to be go in nature (take a walk or just spend a few minutes in your outdoor space), talk to a soul who nurtures you, breathe deeply, pray for peace, watch a silly comedy movie, read, take a nice bath – just take your mind away from the clatter. And – cheer a little that the political ads, texts and financial requests will cease – yippee! And yes, if you haven’t yet, vote. Take care of YOU and those closest to you. Everything is going to be alright! You are needed, worthy, wanted and loved. Spooooktacular Saturday scary souls!! Happppppy Halloween! Happy last day of October!! Well here we are another day to fill us with joy. How will you celebrate this year that’s a bit different. I’ve got the candy just in case I get some spooky lil ones knocking on my door – and yes, gloves and masks will be at hand. I hope you can take a little time to feel like a kid again – it always brings up joyous memories of youth for me. My Mom once made a fabulous Snoopy costume for me which I’ll never forget. Thankful Thursday tremendous souls!! Had some sad news of a dear dear soul who was a huge Portland music supporter who couldn’t take it anymore and took her life two days ago. While we hadn’t talked much lately she was such a lovely soul; my heart goes out to those closest to her. It’s another reminder of how precious life is and how important it is we encourage, love and support each other. The ones you think are doing okay may be hiding their struggles. If you are struggling – please please please reach out to someone. There may be times you need another soul who is somewhat distant from your current circle; there is help out there. Remember – you are so special, worthy, wanted, loved and needed just as you are!
