It’s Tuesday treasured souls!! I found out yesterday morning that a dear soul and bandmate from The Dirt Road Band, Andy Helms, has taken his journey from this earth. My heart is heavy and my love goes to his family, friends and especially his wife – Mel – our lead songbird and a dear friend!!! The band was a family – we spent so much time together and had so many precious, hysterical, inspiring and loving moments. We had several folks come and go, but Andy and Mel were the cement that held us together. I will miss his stories, kindness, wisdom, love and laughter. Andy – I can only imagine what you are doing at the moment – it must have a story and guitar in it! I love ya! For us all – life is truly short! Take the time you have now to tell others how much you care for them, live in forgiveness and LOVE!!!You are all needed, worthy, wanted and loved. I send prayers of love, grace, life, joy, peace, hope, health, healing, kindness, mercy, compassion, gratitude, sharing, empathy, understanding, forgiveness, courage, fortitude, blessings, strength, laughter, smiles and hugs.
