Wonderful Wednesday my whimsical souls … happy last day of February 2018. Grateful! Received a lovely honor yesterday at work, I was given an excellence in leadership award for my service. I was nominated by my boss, spoken on behalf of by our senior leader to the other leaders in the company and was chosen. The kind words that were told to me, and the recognition for the work I’ve done over the last five years was something that made my heart fill with pride and overwhelming gratitude. I was truly humbled. It is nice to know the difference that we make on a daily basis in what we do, who we embrace, and how we live our lives. So, today I challenge you to tell someone that makes a difference in your life how important they are, and spread kind words of how you recognize their importance in your life. We all need a pat on the back every once in a while, it puts a skip in your step and a new perspective in your heart and soul.
