HAPPY NEW YEAR – welcome 2021! As we step forward in this brand new year, this new month of January, this precious new day, let us be refreshed. As it is Friday, and I do my kindness challenge on Friday, let’s bring forth compassion, empathy, care and be a light to those that cross our path. Thankful Thursday tremendous souls!! Happy New Years Eve! We all know it has been quite a year; but I seriously am amazed at how quickly the year has flown – wasn’t it just June??? In the midst of our challenges, I think it has been a year to teach us some wise lessons and some very hard truths. A lot of brave souls had to put every ounce of gumption into their daily lives! Some were found to be true heroes, some were shaken to their core and pushed through, some used the time in reflection, some made major changes, some (God rest their souls) went onto a different journey. No matter where you fit, it was a year of change that brought out the best and worse in us, maybe both simultaneously. Today let us take time to remember, give thanks and say a prayer for what was and what’s to come – and especially for those who have left this earthly dwelling place. Never forget how essential, worthy, wanted, loved and needed you are! Magnificent Monday dear souls!! Glorious day to all. I am fortunate to have this day off for the Christmas break, but just as fortunate to know that I have work to which I can take time off. As we start this beautiful week, this last week of December and 2020, is there someone that you need to give forgiveness to and or ask for forgiveness? It’s always good to start the year with a clear mind and softened heart. If I have hurt you or slighted you in any way, I am sorry – please forgive me. Likewise, I forgive those I need to as well. Special Sunday glorious souls!! Good morning. Woke up to the normal chorus of “feed me thy bowl is empty” by my sweet critters – annoying so early but I’m blessed to have them as part of the family. If we step back from the annoyances, we’ll see the blessings within them. The ability to love precious souls, a warm place of slumber, food in the cupboard to feed them and the ability to sit and reflect on the simple and profound beauty of life. Truly blessed. As you walk your path this day – I challenge you to truly see what blessings surround you. You are needed, wanted, worthy and loved. How might I have reacted to the situation of the day? How will I live this and every day.
